New 50, interested in PvE, now what?

I've been gone a long time, recently made a new account to start fresh and hit 50 on my scout. I really really dont want to RvR, my favorite days were up to ToA and all the PvE encounters and I loved the trials. I've notice the games population isnt very high, so I'm assuming assembling big bgs for things like Dragon raids, car sidi, and ML trials up to draco dont happen anymore? I was interested in looking at the otherworldly and curse campaigns but even those seem to require bg level raids which I'm not sure there is even a taste for anymore.

What would you reccomend a newer PvE oriented 50 do on Ywain that doesnt involve RvR? I dont mind doing things in NF, I can try to avoid RvR situations on stealth, but I'm at a loss now staring at golestandt and cant even attack him.

Edit : I know Gaheris is a pve server, but it's population is maybe 1/4th of Ywain so that was not an option for me.

    I would still recommend Gaheris, it has a passionate community, doing events, raids and such. While Ywain has a bit higher pop, much less engage with PvE there. It also gives you an extra progression with RR which is fun.

    One reason I choose Ywain was because of bg leveling, I dont like RvR, but I wanted to get to 50 asap, how is leveling done on Gaheris?

    I will ask the Gaheris experts for help, but it's pretty fast. :)

    PS: BGs aint the fastest on Ywain either, town quests till 35 then toa questline usually a bit faster.

    On Gaheris you have access to all three sets of town quests and all three sets of dungeon quests so leveling is really fast since you learn which quests you want to skip because they aren't really worth the time or effort. I usually leave ToA for later, but it's definitely an option for some of the later levels. For 45+ the Cathal BG quests give about 1/3 level each with current bonuses. One quest is even the same for all three realms so complete it once and turn it in three times. Just remember to go by each keep to pick up all the quests before you begin.

    I'm personally not much into grouping, but I do see groups running around on a regular basis. While Gaheris does have a substantially lower total population than Ywain, everyone on Gaheris is doing pve while many of the Ywain players are mostly or only doing rvr so Gaheris may actually have more players doing pve at any given time.

    For me, one of the biggest selling points for Gaheris is being able to play any class in any realm. The "best" (imho) classes and content are spread across the realms and on Gaheris it doesn't matter since you can play what you want where you want.

    It’s actually faster to hit 50 on Gaheris than Ywain since you can do quests in all 3 realms classic and SI zones. The New User Journey quest series is actually faster than leveling in the battlegrounds. I’d encourage you to join us in Gaheris discord and give it a try. I’m hosting a one toon per person (no bots or teams) battle group raid on Gaheris on August 20th. There is also a challenge running in Gaheris discord for collecting SI items and turning them in for a reward from a generous player.

    Rolled a Skald there and enjoying it so far. Hit 50 in a couple days. Would have been sooner but RL gets in the way. lol

    OW can be done with less than a group, don’t need a BG for that.

    Folks on Ywain literally beg for PvE raids just to get template items. There hasn’t been any Otherworlds or Curse PvE hosted on Ywain Hib in over 2 months. Alb has had a dry spell as well on Ywain.

    You can actually level to 50 on Gaheris faster than Ywain since you can do the quests in all 3 realms.

    BGs for leveling on Ywain are actually slower than running the New User Journey quests.
