Realm Balance
Just curious as to what others think when it comes to the balance of Realms in DAoC as a whole. I'm talking about all playstyles, solo/smallman/8v8/zerg. If you were in charge of DAoC what would you change or not change that wouldn't unbalance the game for other play styles.

Not fake news fact
Mid again is pretty well balanced again good utility more balanced towards the melee side of things but can still make good hybrid and caster groups
Albion very good caster groups but have to be specialised very poor utility melee groups are soso need to be specced just right hybrid groups pretty good overall the least balanced realm mainly due to utility and melee due to under used toons that don’t excell in groups a few tweaks on certain toons could make it better.
My 2 cents let’s see what the brain trust think.
Not.
Alb has weak utility, however they are the only realm that has a class perma banned from draft fights (theurgist) with a 2nd class usually banned (caster necro) because it's so cheesy. Alb is also regularly banned because it's too strong... But yes, it's only one facet of the game.
But tbh In my mind realm balance is pretty good, necros and theurgists included.
I would however nerf the theurg pet range to 1750 (from 2000), but that mainly affects 8 v 8 as theurgists aren't really used in the current rvr action (mainly zerg fights where dps is king).
I wouldn't consider the alb tanker weak, however they really underperform in the current rvr action, where if you don't end your fight in 20 seconds you will get jammed.
not working...wtf

Just remember... Nobody asked for necro revamp a few years back. Was Remedy even a thing before a few years ago? I don't even know... Were people complaining about assassin's before poison revamp? Nope. It took a lot of skill to be a good assassin, and "old school" assassins absolutely loved that, because it separated them from the rest.
It's a proven fact that Broadsword ruins 83% of everything they touch
Example a bonedancer brings TWF to mid because maulers and BDs are the only classes that can use TWF on mid. Lately there is an average of 3 BDs during us prime. Lowest is just me and the most I've seen is 5.
There are more banshees running around then BDs and a few theurgest. IMO there should be a decent amount of all classes. You know there is. A problem of classes being to powerful when there are 25 or more of the same class and spec running in a 60 man BG.
I would honestly add unique spells to these classes to make them more interesting to play. Some need major changes. Rather then nerf a class too much I would give these 4 classes something that would make ppl pay attention more to combat.
Example: curse a person so when they die and get rezzed ,a skeleton is raised to the rezzer like the dead normally would be and make it lvl 50 and aggro the rezzer. Therefore making the rezzer watch for the curse debuff and wait to rez the dead person after the curse has gone away.

The reason people hate to PvP is they are afraid of failure
People don't play BDs because of **** pet pathing. The class itself is strong.
And yeah, please buff theurgists (?!), Maulers (?!!!!) and bainshees.

I might be wrong but the only alb calss wit TWF is the Reaver and i do not see that many of those around? Especialy in groups.
Every buffing of bds should not lead to more strength in solo fights, imo.
