resize the interface ui elements?

Hello, I am a new player who just started playing the game today and I was wondering: Is there any way to make resize the interface ui elements? I have been looking at a 2x2 mapsize the entire time and the quest windows are rather small.

Only the usual resize corners already there or holding shift to resize but scaling is something we'll be looking at down the road. I don't have any additional info on it atm, sorry.

@Carol_Broadsword You should ask the devs to release higher resolution maps, especially the NF ones. The old vamerwolf ones are great but way out of date at this point. I tried making maps for my UI using one of the old programs but they didn't turn out very well.

The KotRT Custom Classic UI uses larger maps along side the Small Ones. Most Maps for popular Zones I have been trying to keep update with chnages in game. The Atlas Overview Maps are a little outdated. Too much work atm for me with limited time to keep them all uptodate.
@Ewer you are more than welcome if you want to use the maps I use with the normal Overview Map Just download my Classic UI Version, (the NEW Beta atm only uses the SMall maps). Copy the the entire Maps folder along with the regions & Area Dat files, those tell the map overview window how to load the map files as it uses mixed mode SMall & Large.

so i'm playing on a 27" monitor and the hotbars and backpack etc all look so tiny that i cannot see them. i'm set at my default 1920 x 1080 on my desktop. when i try to change the resolution in game it does nothing at all. is there a way to actually fix this or do i need to abandon the game again?

@OriginalCarrot does your monior support lower resolutions? if not this might be causing the issue. I use a desktop res of 1920x1080 but i can run the game at 1680x1020 (Full screen will switch the native monitor res if it is available). The other option is run daoc in windowed mode to test the game is storing the new resolution, make you are setting the resolution from the daoc options menu from the character logon screen?
