Doppelganger Invasion Event Update - PvP

Realm boundaries have shattered, plunging all realms into relentless combat across Ellan Vannin. Only the throne room of Knoc Meayll stands untouched, a final bastion of safety, as the island erupts into chaos.

The island of Ellan Vannin will change to full Player versus Player area today (August 14th, 2025) at approx. 4:30PM EDT / 10:30PM CEST. The following event changes will go live at that time:

The Throne Room of Knoc Meayll is now a safe area where players can port to from the Ellan Vannin Teleporter at their realm's relic town.
Players can buff, group up, and bind in the Throne Room.
The Safe Ports remain but players will not receive credit in these areas.
The three realm towers on Ellan Vannin have been ruined for PvP, and credit is now awarded around these towers.
Docks are no longer capture-able.
Additional Doppelgangers have been added to the areas between the mile gates and "bunny hills."
Ellan Vannin Doppelgangers have been reduced in level, are now non aggro, and made more inline with mainland Doppelgangers.
Players can obtain the Investigate Crystals quest from the Doppelganger Traitor NPC within Knoc Meayll's Throne Room.
Some spells have been adjusted for PvP battle.

The Doppelganger Invasion event has been extended until Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.
