Realm Points for Tower & Keep Guards?

I was just thinking would it be an idea to award some form of realm points for defeating Tower Guards & Keep Guards, the amount awarded depending on the Tower or Keep level. this could start at 100rps for the lowest level and increment by say 100 per level of tower or keep. This I think would benifit solo players and players who play during none peak times and would possibly also get more action into taking Tower & Keep siege war. The point don't need to be too high as this would then not benifit zergs or groups just killing the guards. Just an idea. PLease your thoughts below.

    I highly disagree with this. I think it would just lead to, in a sense, PVE farming. Yes the guards are located in an RVR zone however it's surprisingly easy to kill a bunch of guards and move on. RPS for guards is not a good idea in any way. Besides, in your suggestion there makes no mention of tying these RPS to capturing keeps and and towers, just to killing guards. Let's keep earning RPS for keep guards to Gaheris shall we.

    Thats a good point @Sovereign yes maybe if they were tied to sucessful tower or keep take, and maybe also make the guards a little harder to be defeated. Its just a general Idea i was thinking about. To get some player feedback as to wether this would be a feasable in game. Just throwing some thoughts out in the air to perhaps think of other ways to engage players in meaningfull tower or keep take. Perhaps others can put some constructive feed back here or ideas along this path.

    These used to be guard missions, and I agree this incetivises PvE for RPs. I could personally get on bored with trying them to the keep/tower take, in a similar fasion to door being opened give 50 rps. Its small, and I think you should get those RPs when the lord is taken, but maybe that could poke some action during off peak times. But not a straight up kill 20 guards get 1k rps, thats swinging way past the mark.
