Boats - my personal in-game pet peeve ...
Why can't I take a dock and boat to whatever dock no matter the land (river boats being the exception)?

When I first started playing a few years ago (I have been here now 4 yrs this past Feb) right before the patch that put in (or put back in) the docks by Berk, Nott etc - not that I want to go back to Dock Age of Camelot as it was - but if we want/need to boat .. I want to just take the dock and go.
Interrupting travel, cutting off supplies and resources etc - isn't that all a part siege and warfare?

Oh I see. You want all docks to be captureable like the EV ones. That could be interesting.

Interesting idea. Just like all things in this game, it would have its pro's and con's, but overall I like the idea.

They made docks capable of being captured and I don't think it was received well. This was when NNNF first made it's debut and Berk, Crim, and Nott were turned into player port keeps. I'm not sure about capturable docks but I've always felt that EV and Mainland docks should have the option of taking you back to your realm. For example, I'm at Beno, Bold port is cut, I'd like to purchase a Boldiam ticket from the Beno dockmaster.

I have wondered this as well @Sovereign. Doesn't make any sense that you can't take a boat back to your area from the EV docks. It's not an issue on my ranger since I have gateway, but for many toons that can suck.
