Alb curse is too buggy to bother with IMO. People won't get credit and you'll waste an hour or more redoing various parts of the raid, people will get lost in the dungeon, people will LD every time the BG ports in/out of the dungeon, people will intentionally cause a wipe on Purtrid (people with fire damage think they are funny). Alb Curse gets all this and more! People would rather do just about anything else (including not playing at all) than run curse on Alb.
