Who else is crashing on EV island nightly?

Some of my groupmates for the past week are crashing 1-4 times per night. It seems to happen for sure the first time you port in or take the safe port to the Island. Other times it can be random, but always on EV.

I crash randomly. There isn't a message when I do. It's a complete exiting of the game when just moving. Mostly on the island but it has happened on mainlands also.

Use Display Driver Uninstaller and remove GeForce drivers. Then reinstall fresh and it seems to fix it for about 5 days until you need to repeat the process.

Each time it's happen to me the Event Viewer shows a nvlddmkm error, being the nvidia drivers

Or even quicker and permanent, swap your buffs / debuffs icons to 7x3 row/column in game options. yw.

@xuu wait so making your buff/debuffs at the top the screen smaller fixes the randon crash to desktop on ev?

Running 7x3 buff icons is a more or less known way of "fixing" things like right-click crashes or many random crashes in general. Make sure to uncheck the 'oldest first' box next to the options.

It works for me and for everyone I know that have tried it, and I run it on all my toons. I'd love to have more buff icons displayed but I much prefer not crashing, you get used to it.
