you must complete a quest(starts inside the OW) or buy a token to be able to pick the plants they are the stalk looking plants in OW or around the "solo" spots, also on the outskirts of the island/around island docks.
You recieve otherworld clipping once you pick the stalk. You have to unstack the clippings and /use and you recieve random crafting materials. Essence of restoration, Essence of Supremacy, Essence of tenacity, essence of omni-heal, essence of omni-regen, essence of celerity think thats all of them.
