When will the new masks be available?

i'm waiting for the plague mask i seen a picture of for my shaman. Was wondering when they will be in game? Thanks!

Agreed. I'd love to see some more.

Also some new glowie skins for weapons and new vest patterns for armor.

Cloth wears lack any cool looking vests, most are stuck with ugly robes. 1h crush weapons lack any cool skins. All the cool ones are class restricted so can't be patterned.

Lets get some more of this stuff in the shop!

I understand that BS' ability to push actual brand new content is limited due to a limited manpower. One idea might be to allow outside players to submit skins/models for future updates. Something similar to Steam's green light project.

@Rulother Brilliant idea. Fans/players should be able to try their hand in affecting the game in ways like this that do not in any way affect gameplay. That’s free employees for BS who could spend their time more valuably on more important content.

I think this would actually be fantastic. Could also have design-a-weapon contests and the like as well and give different prizes as incentives. Just so long as the designs don't go too overboard and stay within the theme of the game. Too many MMOs start out with a distinct art style, then go way over the top with particle effects and anime-esque exaggerated weapons and armor that just look cartoonishly inconvenient.

Honestly once/if DAoC goes F2P, a skin store would be a huge help to the game. I know a lot of other MMOs are pretty successful off those alone. You can run it like .. the Steam Market, players put their skins up for sale and they can either be reimbursed by mith or gtc. With the model/skin submitter having full acceptation of the fact they will not receive real cash. It's simple injection of fresh cash to the developers. I mean you guys are owned by EA, I'm sure this is no new concept to them
