Curse chapter 6 bugged?

got my Armsman down to do the curse chapter 6 part .talked to all 3 npc's got Selans sword touch the stone nothing happens. have left the instance, even ported back to Cotswold. still not able to do anything with the stone. am not grouped. Any Ideas?
