effects of legendary weapons on mobs. including necro netherbane.

they seem to debuff procs but they seem not to debuff the main weapon damage. they also seem to debuff the caster damage using the correct damage type on mobs. also casters debuffing the correct damage type on mobs seem to increase the damage by legendary weapons. why doesn't our own debuff increase our melee legendary weapon damage ?

or am i missing something ?

  • That seems really... broken...

here i'll put a screen shot of a damage log.

so, you see me doing level 34 constrictor flex style spam, damage 139 to 186 range, proc from the style 129 ...

then the weapon proc happens, you can see that where after the 129 proc, there is a second proc from 65 that also applies the spirit debuff. from that point onwards the 129 proc becomes 165 (+45). but the main damage remains pretty consistent with the damage before the debuff with a range from 138 to 190, that seems very consistent within variance. there is clearly no (+xx) to the spirit damage of the leggy hits.

also tested damage together with a spirit caba debuffing spirit damage, again, that increases the damage of the proc, but not the damage of the flex style itself using a spirit leggy.

also tested together with wind theurg to do his spirit nuke before and after debuff from the legendary weapon. and there the damage of the wind nuke correctly increased after the leggy proc.

P.S. this is ONLY about damage vs mobs/test dummy, NOT against players.
